Revlon ColorStay "Siren" Quad Review/Swatches

Revlon has recently come out with new ColorStay eyeshadow quads that claim to last for 16 hours without fading or creasing. While this claim didn't hold true for me without the use of a primer, I still really like the quality of this palette.

The colors in the Siren quad are absolutely gorgeous! I was looking for a palette to use for my prom makeup, and when I saw this I knew it would be perfect. I like every single color. There is a light silver, a dusky purple/charcoal (which has a bit of fine glitter), a taupe, and a matte black. The pigmentation on these are amazing, especially with a primer. The matte black is especially impressive!

I think that this quad is so versatile; you can get many looks out of it. For my prom look, I wore the silver all over the lid (over my NYX Jumbo Eye Pencil in Pots 'n Pans), a little bit of the taupe as that "best friend" crease color (to help make the transition look more natural), the purple/charcoal in the crease, and a bit of the black in my outer "v". I loved the way it turned out!

These shadows last all day easily with the use of a primer (see my favorite primer here), but without it they do fade a bit throughout the day. I still think that this is an amazing product and I will be using it often. I also am really impressed by the packaging; it looks very sleek and high-end. These are not very expensive (about $6-7) and there is a wide color range of these palettes. I will be picking up more in the future!
